Bacon listened as Naomi told him of the activity. It wasn't the first time there had been something going on in their borders. But truthfully activity had been going up in everyone's area because of the recent shortage in mainly food. Which means an increase in the number of scouts gangs would send out to try and scavenge things. As well as a rise in zombie population in the city. Something about this city just keeps drawing them in and Bacon for one was sure that one of the gangs were experimenting on them and maybe even humans. He hadn't the faintest clue of who but every now and then someone would run into one of the rejects. He allowed himself a mental chill before he refocused on Naomi.
"Well, I don't know about you but I don't see why we are just standing here anymore?" Bacon announced playfully as he shifted the weight of the pack and did a quick scan of the inside of the Gas station again. Seeing nothing useful pop out to him he shrugged and without waiting for a response he strolled out into the open and made it to the curb before he stopped. He had just realized that she hadn't told him exactly which direction. Only that it was about a mile from here.
Feeling a bit foolish he scanned the streets and fronts of the buildings nearby looking for any activity at all. Nothing in the streets at all still. It was seriously too quiet for it's own good. As he turned to see if Naomi had exited the building yet though he saw a flicker of motion up in a window of one the buildings across the street. Turning his head he raised a hand above his eyes to shield his vision from the sun. Squinting he scanned the fourth floor where he'd seen it hoping to catch another glimpse.
