Kira took her knife out, clicking it into position.

"Sure. Knock yourself out" She told him, having a newfound respect for the man.

Takeing the knife, Phil started to sharpen the broom stick with it, until it was sharpened to a point, and handed her the knife. "Lets do this."

Kira began to walk out the door of the makeshift hospital.

"Lets kick some Zombie ass." She muttered to herself.

"I wouldent actually call them zombies." Phil said, squating down, with his spear in his hand. "Zombies are not as ugly, these are something else."

I woke up and got up, the pain from the wound has eased. I took my flashlight out and turned it on, then I limped towards some flats. Halfway there, five people around the age of 14 to 16 surrounded me. "Uh...Hi..." I said. One of them, which was thin and held a machette said:" Give us everything you have!" I realised these were the street kids, always bullying other kids and now they're looking for trouble. "I don't have anything," I said. Then without hesitation, the biggest of them all pinned me down onto my knees, and one of them used a baseball bat and hit me in the stomach. "Ouch!" I yelled in pain, he hit me another time. I realised I was spitting blood now and I had to do something, fast.

Kira turned her heards torward Phil.

"Hmm...I guess "Infected" would work. Anyway how do yo-" She was cut off by the sound of a man yelling "Ouch!" She began to sprint torwards the sound.

"You keep searching for supplies!" She yelled to Phil. "I'll be right back! It might be another survivor!" She turned her heard and continued running.

Phil knew she knows what she was doing, so he smashed a car window, and shuffled in it.

Kira continued running and turned into a small neighborhood with a few flats scattered around. She heard a boy crying out, and rushed forward.

"H-Hey!" She yelled out. "L-Leave him alone!" She rushed upto the circle, hitting one on the back.

At that instance, I felt myself being dropped to the ground. I saw a girl fighting the thugs. Without hesitation, I took out my knife and stabbed the bulky one on his leg.

I felt like I'd ran 30 miles. The injury that I'd survived must have affected my breathing. It felt like somebody drilled into my ribs, same for my skull. The staircase was on the verge of collapsing. I had to escape using an elevator shaft that was in front of me. The gang of teenager were still behind me. I skidded to a halt, the elevator shaft was pitch black. The gang drew closer. I had to drop down, it was my only way out. I looked down, took a deep breath to relax me, then I stepped off the edge, with my arms outstretched, hoping to grab something like a rope or a wire. There wasn't. Luckily the fall was not that far, but it still hurt. I let out a grunt, but not too loud, then they would be able to hear me.
"FUCK! WHERE DID HE GO!?" One of the teenagers roared.
"I don't know, but I heard a noise inside this lift shaft."
"Brilliant, we've got him now. Throw a petrol bomb in there, burn the bastard!"
Bollocks! I can't get out! I lit a match, tried to look for a door, or a gap to climb through, but there was nothing. Then I looked down, saw a hatch. I dug my fingers under the hatch and managed to force the hatch open. I jumped down, into the lift, where the door was half open. I tried to force it open, but my injuries weakened me slightly. I saw the front door up ahead. I just needed to find a way to force the door open. By the reception desk near the door, there was a man in a filthy doctor's suit. He didn't look infected.
"Hey! Help me out of here! Please!" I called out, but when the doctor turned around, his face was covered in boils and blisters, there was a bloody pus running down his face. His mouth opened, showing rotten, jagged teeth. There was a bubbly red saliva oozing through his teeth. He growled and shambled towards me, arms outstretched.
"Bollocks!" I looked up, saw the gang finishing up on their petrol bomb. "BOLLOCKS!" I Screamed. I used all of my strength to open to door, eventually I succeeded, but got caught in the grasp of the infected doctor. We tripped and fell. Before I hit the ground I lifted my leg up, when we landed, my knee dug into his ribs. He growled in rage and pain and tried to bite me, his jaws snapped at my face, I could smell the death in his breath. The gun was still in my pocket. If I could reach it, then I would kill him. My hand reached into my pocket. I had the gun.
"Hey ugly!" I put the gun in his face. "come get some!" I grunted, as I squeezed the trigger.
