Introduction

The Queens of Winter have finally declared war on Summer. The Unseelie Queens refuse to give exact reasons for such a volatile declaration of war, saying simply that they ‘can no longer abide by the transgressions of Summer.’

Mab and Maeve have gathered their armies are conducting open combat not only in the Summer lands of Faerie, but in the streets of Chicago itself. The US military has cordoned off the entire Chicago area, as far off as 50 miles, in order to prevent civilian lives outside of the warzone from becoming even more endangered. Mab has called everyone being in the magical community to choose a side or be destroyed as ‘collateral damage.’ Mab sent her emissary to the White Council to demand it’s assistance in Winter’s war as they already have relations with Unseelie as a result of Mab allowing the White Council forces to traverse unharmed through Faerie during their war with the Red and Black Courts.

Titania and Lily, the younger Queens of Summer, are in a panic as the Seelie forces are pushed back and slaughtered by Winter’s forces. Titania has gone so far as ask for assistance from the various communities that make up the magical community. She has enlisted John Malcone and all his resources, and has requested assistance from the various werewolf groups, as well as the Denarians, much to her disgust. Lily, in turn has asked for assistance from all the half-breed and from Harry Dresden himself.

The Fellowship of Saint Giles and the Knights of the Cross have outright refused to participate in the war unless, in the case of the Fellowship, a majority vote, or, in the case of the Knights, they are instructed to by God.

Harry Dresden is at a loss. He is torn by his loyalties and friendships, as they pull him to both sides of the conflict. He and his have not yet allied with any given side, despite Mab’s appeal to the White Council.

Now it appears that champions are rising amongst every group caught amongst the conflict. All the casualties so far are nothing to the destruction they will cause. The war has just begun.

Character skeleton:

Name obviously goes in the name box.
Sex: ‘Yes, please’ is not a sex.
Age: Be realistic. A 13 yr old does not fight in a war.
Species: Any type of Fae, vampire, or human combatant, etc. You may NOT be a dragons, one of the key characters, or one of the Old/Elder Gods. Unaligned demons are not allowed.
Ability(ies): Straight forward. Don’t go crazy. For wizards, specify what you specialize in. Alchemy, summoning, and elemental manipulation are allowed.
Weapon(s): No named weapons, such as Amoracchius.
Appearance: A detailed description at least one paragraph long. Picture may be included.
Bio: 2-4 paragraphs only. Be to the point.
Quirks: Something or a couple things that set him apart. It has to be something that appears more than once, say…your character dyes their hair an unnatural color, or they smoke cigars, they have emotional ties to a key figure, etc..
Side of the War: Which side they are most likely to join, or have already joined. Or if they are not going to join a side, but assist both in a mercenary manner. Include reasoning behind it.
Other: Bit you want to add to your character that helps to personalize him/her.

The following is a list of some of the factions that have a stake in the outcome of the war.

The Seelie Court: The Faerie of Summer, including all Fae who have ties to Summer. They are currently at war with Winter. They include, but are not limited to: centaurs, elves, pixies, gruffs, unicorns, dwarves, sprites, etc. Titania and Lily lead summer's forces.

The Unseelie CourtL The Faerie of Winter, including all Fae who have tie to Winter. They have declared war on Summer. They include, but are not limited to: trolls, imps, goblins, grumpkins, nix, ice spirits, redcaps, etc.

White Court Vampires: These vampires are the type that feed on the emotional energy of humans to survive.

Black Court Vampires: These vampires are the type most similar to the Dracula legends. They are decayed, reanimated corpses that feed on the life force of the living. Many of their number have been destroyed because Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula, made their vulnerabilities (e.g. garlic, running water, sunlight, holy symbols) common knowledge. Only the most cunning and powerful of them survived; thus, the few remaining Black Court vampires are particularly powerful and dangerous.

Red Court Vampires: These vampires are rubbery, bat-like creatures. They often wear a "flesh-mask" which gives them the appearance of normal human, allowing them to keep a low profile in public. They crave blood, and their saliva contains a toxin with potent narcotic effects.

Knights of the Cross: A group of three people, also known as the Knights of the Sword, who wield swords from God. Each sword allegedly has a nail from the Crucifixion worked into the blade, giving them abilities far beyond normal weapons.
(Note, in this RP, Murphy has taken up Fidelacchius and is officially a Knight of the Cross)

Werewolves: Early in the novel, Fool Moon, the character of Bob explains that there are at least four different variations of werewolves, each of which has different magical properties, strengths, and weaknesses. Werewolves, hexenwolves, loup-garous, and lycanthropes are the four types.

Changelings: changelings are half mortal, half Fae children who must choose between their mortal and Fae heritage.

Denarians: The Denarians are unions of a human host and a Fallen Angel. There are thirty Fallen, each bound to a tarnished silver Roman denarius which bears its respective Fallen's sigil; the thirty denarii represent the thirty pieces of silver paid to the apostle Judas to betray Jesus, and may possibly be those very coins.

Fellowship of Saint Giles: The Fellowship of St. Giles (named for the patron saint of lepers and other Outcasts) is made up of people who are half-human and more specifically those who have been infected by Red Court vampires but have yet to drink the lifeblood of another human to complete their transformation. The Fellowship helps its members control their urges, support each other, and fight the vampires who infected them.

The Wardens: They were 200 law enforcement officers of the White Council. Their duties are to enforce the Seven Laws of Magic and to protect the Senior Council. One hundred forty-three Wardens were killed in the recent clashes with the Vampires. Dresden was drafted by Captain Luccio to bolster the ranks.

The Outsiders: These immortal, ancient beings were the servants and foot soldiers of the Old Gods. They dwell in the Netherworld, outside of this world and the Nevernever. One of the Seven Laws of Magic forbids opening a gate to the Outsiders. Outsiders include Facetakers, an extremely difficult to kill race that take on the appearance of those they kill.

The White Council: The Council that governs all human practitioners of magic and enforces the Seven Laws of Magic. The are headed by The Merlin, the most powerful living wizard at the time.

The Black Council: Harry has suspicions that there may be an organization behind not only the traitor within the White Council, but also many of the foes Harry and the Council have had to face throughout the series.

Johnny Marcone: The crime boss of Chicago who governs all things criminal. He recently secured himself a place in the Concords. The official laws that say he and his organization are untouchable by other members of the Concord (The White Council, the vampire courts, the Fae) unless they are to declare war.

Alphas: A group of teenage lycanthropes that assist Harry Dresden in some of his cases.

Alright cool, I'll have my charas up sometime tomorrow I hope XD

Re: The Final Clash of the Faerie Queens

You may have two characters, but I will have to approve them.

Most of the folklore goes with the Dresden Files universe. More information regarding it, see the given links.

But yes, all Fae are deadly allergic to iron.

Re: The Final Clash of the Faerie Queens

Omg Okay so Can I have two Charas?

A Fae and A Changling?

And do Folklore Fae rules apply
as 'They can't lie but tell half-truths', They're Allergy to Iron' and so on and so forth? Cuz That'll be cool.
