As Aiden and Rabbit continued waiting at the bottom of the stairs, they were greeted by the girl known as "Whisper", whom noticed the newest addition to the house for the first time, referring to him as "fresh meat". Aiden smiled up at her and gave her a small wave at that, finally getting a look at her face, which he cocked his head at slightly, feeling as though she were somewhat familiar, although he wasn't sure exactly why. Then again, he'd seen and met hundreds of individuals throughout his travels, so it wasn't too strange to find someone similar to another he had encountered before. Believing that to be the case, he decided to introduce himself.
"Hi, I'm Aiden." he said, although Whisper didn't appear to be all too interested in staying put long enough to properly introduce herself, as she quickly left just after Everest had come down to meet them; who had decided to run off just before her. He seemed to be upset over something, although what, Aiden had no idea. Giving the black-haired fellow a worrying furrow of the eyebrows as he passed by, Aiden turned to Rabbit, showing him the same look out of question to what had happened all of the sudden.
However, no one would answer that silent question, as Whisper and Everest were both gone, and Rabbit appeared as though he shouldn't say anything. Obviously this family must have a few personal secrets that Aiden had no business getting involved in, but he was still slightly curious. Deciding to leave it alone for now, he thought it best to relax after the long walk through the halls Rabbit had led him on. Leaning his back against the wall, he peered out through one of the many large windows beside him, feeling himself unwind a bit as he took in the surrounding scenery. No matter what doubt he may have had over whether or not he should stay at the house, one thing was undeniably certain: the grounds were so incredibly beautiful. He'd never given Italy -- or any other foreign country for that matter -- much of a thought, but after being there himself, he knew what he was missing out on, and was truly grateful to Everest and Atheya for giving him a chance to see it in person. At the very least, he'd be sure to treasure the memory of this place for the rest of his life.
After a short while of respite, Everest came back into the hall, offering to show Aiden to the available rooms for him to choose from, upon which Aiden stood up straight.
"Uh, yeah. If it's not too much trouble," he replied with a polite smile. He stepped up to join Everest, but stopped and turned to Rabbit. "Hey, thanks for showing me around, Rabbit. After seeing everything firsthand, I'm sure if I explored on my own, I would have gotten lost in no time," Giving a light chuckle, he added, "You're one hell of a tour guide." and walked upstairs after Everest, wondering just how many rooms there truly were, on account of how large the downstairs level of the house was.
