Haera's home

Hadasha shook her head, the man was a fool. Haera, on the other hand, scooted on the edge of her seat, "I am going to tell you this, Thul and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Well, I will tell you two things." She said. "One, you are an idiot. I mean, I get where you are coming from, but you are just that. Two, if I hadn't had my twins and I would have overcome that initial shock I probably would have murder Istrain for raping me, but because I had kids... I did what I needed to do. He is making up for what he has done, though, unlike you idiotic ex-wife. I just hope your kids don't grow up to be just like her." She sighed and shook her head. "Hadasha, you want some tea?" She asked and the girl nodded.

Thuling raised an eyebrow as Haera spoke. Why was she speaking in past-tense. He slowly turned his gaze towards Istrain, who was looking away rather sheepishly. "Istrain..." Thuling said slowly, and Istrain frowned. "Drop it, Thul. It's not something I'm proud of, but we've moved past it," he said, and Thuling blinked at hearing Istrain's confirmation that he had, in fact, done what Haera seemed to be saying. "So what you're telling me... is that you rape a woman and get to live happily ever after with her and your children in a little house by the lake, but I do nothing but love my wife and try my hardest to please her and I lose her, all my siblings, and the right to see my children?" he asked, standing up. "Thul-" Istrain started, but Thuling shook his head, turning around and leaving the house promptly. Istrain sighed.

Hadasha tensed up and looked around before getting up and running after him. She didn't say anything, but she was there if he wanted to rant. She was there if he needed anything and she was there just in case he tried to do something stupid and she could run and get help.

Haera walked in and blinked when it was just Istrain. She sighed and walked back into the kitchen and started to put things back and dump the tea.

Istrain watched Hadasha go after Thuling, sighing a bit. He hadn't expected Thuling to be this upset over finding out what he had done, and he glanced up when Haera came back in. He stood up after hearing her sigh, walking into the kitchen after her and coming up behind her, putting his hands on her hips and kissing her back softly. "Did you still want that belly rub?" he asked her softly, resting his forehead against her back and holding her gently.

Thuling started to walk back to the city, looking over at Hadasha when he realized that she'd come running after him. "Oh, hi," he said in a soft voice, his hazel eyes turning downwards to look at his feet as he walked.

Haera turned around and looked down at him. "Yes please... I could use a darn belly rub and I am sure the babies want you to talk to them." She smiled at him. He was so handsome and she understood Thul's anger. He had done his best with the worst woman.

Istrain nodded when Haera said that she wanted the belly rub and to have him talk to the babies. "Sounds good to me. I'm always down for talking to the babies. Come on, we can go lie down and I'll rub your belly and talk to them," he said, grabbing her hand and beginning to lead her towards the bedroom. "To be honest, I'm kinda hoping for boys. I feel like if the twins are girls, I'm gonna be the worst sucker for them and they'll end up spoiled rotten. At least if the twins are boys I can learn about parenting and how to say no to them, and then if we have a girl later on I should be able to control myself when she's wanting things instead of immediately caving and giving her everything she wants," he laughed.

Haera smiled and walked up to their bedroom with him. When he said about having boys and then a girl later on her eyebrow rose, "You... want more?" She asked and thought about it. "We will see how these two go before saying I want more. I might be the worse mom ever." She said. "But I agree... I hope it is boys too. I don't do... girly very well. It drove my brother crazy but it inspired him to make tomboy clothes...so..." She giggled and then laid on the bed and rubbed her tummy. "Plus... boys seem easier to take care of and I don't need you spoiling babies." Haera said softly.

Istrain blinked when she questioned him wanting more. "I... didn't say that. I just said if we have more," he said quickly. He raised an eyebrow when she said she might be the worst mom ever. "Nah. You'd make a great mom. You'd be tough and protective, but you've also got such a big heart. You've got a lot of love in there and the twins are gonna be lucky to have you," he told her. He chuckled as she talked about wanting boys and he laid with her, putting his hand gently on her stomach. "Well, then, let's cross our fingers for some boys. And if it's girls... well, we cross our fingers that we do this right," he said with a laugh.
