Emerson locked eyes with Ali once more. She mouthed a thanks and he nodded. It wasn't a problem at all. Once again, he smiled at her. He returned his eyes to the auctioneer. Who had segregated the sold with unsold. He moved Ali with the sold slaves, all of which belonged to Emerson's coven. He smirked lightly. The auctioneers cheesy voice rang, "All right, on we go." He moved over to Lina and patted her head.
"Hmmmmmm, for this one let's say 1000?" He lifted her head and she bit her lip. He smiled at her. "Oh, this is a nice one." He turned towards the crowd. "Come on people. We can't let that handsome young man get them all. What's the fun in that?" He smirked. "If no one but him interested, I'll close all slave sales."
Lina took in a shaky breath as the auctioneer walked towards her. She was so nervous that when he touched her, she bit her lip so she wouldn't flinch. His smile was cruel and she must have looked terrified. Then, she mentioned other people bidding aside from the one vampire coven. Lord, she hoped not. She wanted to go with them. They seemed nice enough.
