Harlequin moved an inch, grasping the cellular device, but the thing was strong. Wouldn't break easily.

Let's see... It thought as it opened the phone, clicking a button with a tiny poke of it's doggy paw, and clicked "RECENT MESSAGES" and looked over the message. it clicked "SEND NEW MESSAGE" and swiftly clicked a new message, but didn't get to finish. The burning feeling was creeping up it's legs.

"Oh ... " It whispered. whenever it stayed too long in particular forms that it didn't reside in often; the magical properties began to eat up that form, and that meant it was time for Harlequin to switch out. it shook it's furry paw and stood up uncomfortably. Another fail ...

Harlequin dashed off again, melting into the shadows and melts into a smaller, more maneuverable form.


A silver tabby cat prowled out of the dark and sat down, wrapping it's tail around it's paws neatly. Amber eyes gleamed and observed the two. "I will have to make a move soon.."
