Maxx watched the dog take off with Kyoko's cell, but he didn't make a move to go after it. His choice didn't make an ounce of thought, for it was clearly obvious to him that he needed to stay with her rather than chase after something that was easily replaceable. "Well... there goes your cellphone," he muttered with a groan, "what an annoying night."
It was rare for Maxx to complain about anything, but he frankly didn't care. All day, he'd felt eyes on him & when night let loose, there wasn't much of a difference. What really irritated him, though, was that a pair of eyes would come & go, & another one would appear... never was it one beholder.
