"That's better." Hunter said as they entered the housing wing of the SafeHouse. "I think yelling back there gave me a headache, but it just went away." he then took a card from his pocket and slid it through a reader on the wall. There was a series of beeps, then the doors slid open, but before they could enter they were knocked aside by a couple of medics taking away a man who had blood all over the front of his shirt and looked like he was dead.

"Sorry boys," A woman in an MTD uniform said, crossing her arms and sighing. "One of the AMCs must have malfunctioned. It seems that man was killed by psychic powers, his ribs snapped inwards, impaling his lungs, causing him to choke to death on his own blood before he could suffocate..." She shook her head and looked at Hunter with a look that could kill before the continued. "The mutant you brought in, Westlyn Dynamite, will be used as a specimen, and if she cooperates, we may turn her into an agent for MTD. If not...well, it gets complicated. So far she was the only famous mutant we've captured."

As this woman spoke she led the two men back towards the cell room where Westlyn was kept. Two medics were just about to unlock the door and go in to see to her, and probably carry her out to the medical wing if things were as bad as the guards had said they were.

"How do you mean complicated?" Hunter asked. "I thought the government controlled the media now-a-days. It can't be too hard to say she up and went on vacation or something."

"You obviously have no idea how popular she is..." The woman gave him another death glare, however this time there was a slight twinge of pain in the look, something that maybe said she wished she could be popular like Westlyn.
