Clothes, bed sheets, anything made of material that could serve as a bandage...Annie limped across the landing and into the first room. A childs room. There was blood all over the walls and ceiling. She backed away quickly. Going into a room that stank of death was never a good idea no matter what you might need. The next room was a master bedroom. It seemed untouched. A closet stood in the corner, one door slightly ajar. Annie crossed the room as quickly as she could trying not to make too much noise, the deamons could smell her already there was no need to let them hear her too. Leaning heavily on the closet she pulled the slightly open door wide and an old woman fell out. Annie's reaction was instant. She backed away and drew her gun from her boot, there was still something in there. Inching forward it didn't take long to realise it was the girl that had been on the porch.
'You almost gave me a heart attack.'
Annie hissed at the girl, half relieved and half angry. Standing again she put her gun away and pulled a long dress from the closet before begining to rip it into strips. Ingnoring the girl she stripped off her shorts and began pulling off the blood soaked bandages. Annie inspected the wound. It wasn't infected but it was still quite deep.
Deamon claws are a bitch and a half
As she was redressing her wound a thought occured to her. If the girl from the porch was in the closet upstairs who the hell was that army guy talking to?
This is bad...
Pulling her shorts back on Annie turned to the girl.
'Come on. Stick with me, we have to go back downstairs.'
It didn't matter much if the girl followed her or not but Annie had to warn the man. He might be her best chance of survival...
