((Right, sorry- I thought it was a single battle, one-on one, which is why I recalled Croconaw in my last post. I don't really believe in forged matches, I think it should just play out, and since your Pokemon are much more highly evolved and skilled they should just win almost inevitably. Plus, it would be awkward to beat the 8th gym leader with two badges... that's like beating Claire from Soul Silver after coming from beating Whitney. lol.

Haunter drifted backwards and sent an unblockable attack to the Spidva. Croconaw, use surf in front of Haunter!" Croconaw unleashed the water attack at both of Cinder's Pokemon. The waves broke through the smoke before crasing towards the opponents.
