Arabella flinched from the man and stuck her tongue out before taking the stage. She stood closer to Nile than the creepy bass player.
"Hey," She said, facing the crowd. She put on her best smile even though she felt her legs shaking beneath her. "I'm Arabella, this is Nile and that's..." She paused at the bassist's name.
"Mike," He said leaning close to her to use her mic. She flinched but took the mic off the stand and held it away from him.
"And today we're playing Decode by Paramore." There were a few cheers and some other things that Arabella looked away from. They began with the guitar and the bass came in. She began singing. Quietly at first, then she was belting it out as well as Hayley Williams. She would occasionally steal a glance at Nile and smile at him.
