"Hey, don't you think w-" Telana stared in surprise as William lowered himself to the ground, staring into the water. Telana didn't know if anything was really there. Focusing on Will, she prodded him with a paw.
"Snap out of it! William! Look at me!" She said firmly, staring at the side of his face, willing him to look.
"Quit looking at the water." She knew somehow this wasn't natural, she wasn't just paranoid, she was protective. Fear made ice-cold adrenaline shoot through her. She lashed her tail, feeling the need to rip something apart .. at least move in some way.So she shuffled her paws, continuing to prod him.
