Alec bag and tagged the folder, taking his time to let Vic call it in. Once he was done he made his way outside, Vic was finishing up her call. After she was done, Alec's phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled it out and checked the caller ID, Cody. He answered the phone, took a few steps from the door and listened, "Uh, I don't think we did. We searched pretty much everywhere, all we found was a folder with newspaper clippings of the killing in it. Just hold on a second and lemme think." Alec quickly racked his brain for anything the key might belong to, "Sorry man, I can't think of a thing. We where more looking for evidence, didn't think of looking for a key-hole. We can look again and call you back if we find anything, though." He said, "It won't be that much trouble, Vic's already destroyed the place." He added as a bit of an after thought. "But seriously, if you find out what it goes to, give me a call so I won't have to be in there with all those dead animals, okay?" He said as the call was finishing up.

Once he had finished he, reluctantly, stepped back inside and tasked himself with looking around for something, anything the key might fit in. He basically started doing what Victoria had been doing earlier, just searching absolutely every inch of everything.
