"Well, shit. Civvies."

Well, that obviously meant this guy was military. He frowned though; "civvies" wasn't exactly the nicest way to refer to the group. He had worked with the military making weapons enough that he had heard that term many times before, but that didn't mean he had to like it.

"Anyone know what's going on?"

In his semi-sarcastic voice, Jeremy responded, "Nice to meet you, too. We're on a ship called the Ulysses, heading to 'Planet 442c.' So far it's only us four and the acting captain who are awake, and we are supposed to be heading up to the captain's rooms. Oh, did I mention that all the original captains are dead and that the ship is so damaged that we need to find oxygen masks? No? Well, that's how it is. And we need to find those masks and get going. I need one of those oxygen tanks to make a blowtorch."
