"There is no way I'm allowing my daughter to go to that party!" Rufus Humphrey sipped his bad coffee as he sternly looked at Jenny from the kitchen sink.
"Dad! You are ruining my life!" Jenny glared at his father. "Just because my brother decided to become a loser doesn't mean I'm gonna suffer the same fate!"
"Oh really now? Guess i'd rather be a loser than to be with those freaking pretenders." Dan walked inside the kitchen and poured himself some coffee as well as he sucked on his cigarette.
"Even if Serena van der Woodsen is around?" Jenny raised her eyebrow towards her brother.
He stopped dead on his tracks and looked at her again. "No way you gonna trick me on that one."
"Oh pshhh! I know you received that text from Gossip Girl! To afraid to admit that she's back? What do you think will she be wearing at the Kiss on the Lips party?"
"Who the heck is that Gossip Girl? You kids are pretty weird, back in the days we send snail mail not text messages! Well Jenny, the only way you can go to that party is if Dan will go with you! And that's final." His dad stood up and exited the apartment.
"What??!!! Oh don't you dare ruin my life Daniel! Go buy something. You heard dad!" Jenny tried to push her brother.
"And wear something stylish for once. Please. Just one word: Serena. So please."

The Humphrey kids both adore Serena Van Der Woodsen. She is Jenny's ultimate Idol while she is Dan's love for the longest time.
The Kiss on the Lips party will be celebrated in a few days. It was coordinated by Blair Waldorf with Kati Farkas and Isabel Coates.
Since Serena was gone, Dan became more morbid than ever while Jenny tried to get on Blair's good side for a while now.
