Carter waved at the new-comer. "Howdy! Welcome to St.Bartelbee's!" Carter sat down on the fountain rim again, next to Athalia, placing Menteo on the opposite side. He reached down and scratched the small Spirit's head, giving her a small smile. "Well, Runt, it seems you have tons of new friends, and even more flutes." He pulled his glasses down the bridge of his nose, looking up at the two over the edge. "Don't think this is going to give Woodwinds Dorm an advantage."

We should go soon, idiot. Classes will be starting soon, and I can't stand helping you clean the arena again., growled Menteo into his head.

You just can't stand that we're outnumbered here. But, you have a point. Giving Athalia one last scratch, Carter stood, picking up the violin case. "Well, best be off. Can't be late now, can we?" Turning to to leave, he stopped mid-stride at the sound of a loud BING-BONG!

An announcement on the P.A. system? That's new. Carter turned his attention to the nearest set of speakers, mounted just over the fountain.

"Attention, everyone! All teachers and students must procede to the auditorium in the main building immediatly for an important announcement. Again, all teachers and students to the auditorium immediatly!"

Carter raised a questioning brow as the P.A. clicked off. "An important annoucement? Wonder what's up." He turned back towards Nate and Teri, trying to dicepher their reactions. "Well, shall we go together?"
