(Good post Raven. While I was reading it I actually got a bit angry)
Lucian stared right into Saldonis's eyes. He could see what he meant, his eyes showed him that he experienced many things over and over again. He wanted to attack the guy with all his might. His hands turned into fist, but he quickly released them. Is he trying to get me to attack him? he wondered. His temper was rising and all he wanted to do was to yell and beat up this guy but at the same time he wanted to cry. The guy was right he jumped when he appeared and Dahila was wide open and she was ready open for attack. Then when he said the whole thing about common blood not being mixed with royal blood what was thinking? Did he think that Lucian and Dahila was sneaking out on a date? He thought about what he had to say before he said it. "We're just going to the lake that's all and if anything happens I'm pretty sure we'd be able to escape and find someone who could help us." he said calming down. He knew he had to show respect for this guy to let them go. Hopefully he wouldn't take his soul.
