Shao Khan seemed satisfied by the mission's success but was skeptical about Kung Lao, saying he died in Mortal Kombat years ago. But Lea was sure about what she saw, Kung Lao had cut Shei in two with his hat in front of her. It was pretty frustrating that Khan didn't believe it, Lea was insane but never had hallucinations without being on drugs.
-Eh, I'm pretty sure of what I saw, he had a hat that could chop people to pieces.
Khan decided to leave the subject and gave Lea his orders. She was to go in the Netherrealm to recruit a ninja named Scorpion. The objective was clear, at least but the task would be a bit complicated by the fact that Lea didn't know what was the Netherrealm and didn't have any clue about Scorpion's possible location. Shao Khan decided that Baraka was going to be her guide, to which the girl frowned in disgust.
-I get stuck with that ugly bastard? Damn!
Lea really couldn't stand the Tarkatans' appearance, for reasons unknown. Or maybe she was just looking to provoke Baraka. Either way, she didn't stop herself from annoying commentaries. She turned toward Baraka.
-You better don't be an hindrance, chop-chop freak! I don't like being slowed down.
She then turned toward Khan again.
-Well, I'm ready to roll, then. Go to Nether-somethin', find Scorpion, tell him to join or kick his ass to force him. Easy.
She simply waited for the portal to be ready. The next mission would probably involve some battle and Lea was confident, but she didn't know that the Netherrealm was the biblical "Hell", where undead and demons ruled. And she didn't know anything about Scorpion, the infamous Shirai Ryu ninja. At least Baraka would surely know what he's doing, although Lea didn't really have any trust for him.
