"Is there always so much screaming during off hours?" Endymion smiled a crooked smile at the bistro owner."I am afraid it might interfere with the show this evening." Endy chuckled and walked outside, leaving the owner shaking his head.

Secretly Endy was against all the bloodshed..excessive if anyone were to ask him, but a part of thier society such as it was. Time to focus on the coming show. He removed his lyre from it's case and began to polish it. It's dragon form gleemed in the twighlite, as if it had an inner light of it's own.

"Not long now my friend, and we shall play for the crowds." the bard whispered as he cleaned. "Tonight the common man, tomorrow nobility and by the end of the gig we shall play before Genox and the King."

"Yesssss, theee kiiinnngggg." The lyres voice whispered back.

"Then Arthos our career will be at it's peak and we will be able to 'ask' for what we want."

Endymion snickered and began to strum. The tune was one of invitation, and soon the people began to wander in, whether they meant to or not.
