Demetri’s first glance was at the ruined mass of creature beside him, the Zaghnol. With a grimace he stared at the visible steel innards of the beast with a expression full of regret. What a waste of time… He thought, finally moving to address the exhausted students before him. That same, familiar smirk played across his face, only growing wider once he laid eyes upon Xavier’s butt hurt expression.
“Howdy.” He waved playfully at all of them. “Looks like you had one hell of a fight. But you pulled through…” Demetri looked back at Zaghnol yet again, and killed the hell out of my prototype….
“No thanks to you…I think it’s time you’ve come clean Maverick.” Jayx’s knight spoke up, the only thing stopping him from charging the man was Brave’s grip on his arm. It was extremely tight.
“I’ve told you everything, I may have twisted words and perspectives a bit, but I never lied.” Demetri snapped his fingers, creating a wispy black haze around his palms. “We have a lot to chat about, I’d rather not have all these people watch me get death stares from a bunch of children.” He chuckled, and with a wink at Him, he clapped his hands together, and like that, Xavier felt himself black out.
((Area shift))
Xavier awoke the sound of a hypnotic beat, and a surprising amount of voices—way more than he was accustomed too. Urgh… He slowly rolled over, eyes still closed, so that if he was to find himself in somewhere with sun, he wouldn’t be blinded by all of the light. However, that was the least of the boy’s worries, because just as he made for his turn, he felt whatever was underneath him disappear, and he instead crashed to the ‘ground’ below him.
It was on impact that he finally opened his eyes, and the world around him materialized in its full glory. A nightclub. A freakin’ nightclub.
A giant complex with thousands of people, he was sure that most of them below were not human. The infectious techno beat shook the very plush walls of the club, and at the front of it all, directly north of where they were was a huge stage, floating just above the chaos of the ground. A wall sized screen sat on the wall against the stage showing various flashing images that made him feel sick the longer he tried to watch. The signature color of the place was dark blue and fire engine red.
Xavier, and the others he noticed, must have been dragged hear, or teleported here, or something, thanks to that snake. They were all laid out on four red couches, sleeping soundly. He must have been the first one, because everyone else was partaking in a fanfare of snores.
Their area was high above the party below however, on long steel platform, he guessed it was a VIP area because of the bar on the other side.
“Where is he now…?” Xavier frowned, still laid across the ground as a result of his rude awakening. “From a Coliseum to a night club…”
((I'm adding more to this as we speak, but it's not as plot centric as this, I NEEDED to get this up. Sorry again for my lateness. Very sorry.))
