Meiro ignored Cliff's first statement about being immature and respect. But his next words got Meiro's attention. He sharply turned his young, fierce face to Cliff and glared at him as though he was trying to tear apart his very soul. He hated being lectured, but even more so he hated being called a kid. He knew he was young, but he was also aware of his own abilities and if it wasn't for his grandfather, he would likely outrank, or at least match rank with, almost everyone at this school.
He was about to respond when Cliff turned to ask the teacher if he could leave with him. With a huff he stared anyway. "How..." Was as far as his bratty voice got before he was cut off by the unexpected yank out the door. Once outside the room he quickly and easily broke Cliff's grip on his wrist. He glowered up at the older man. "You're asking for it old man." He said keeping his intimidating silver-eyed gaze on Cliff, practically challenging him.
