"Well, currently we must wait for dear Natasha to return," Malfoy drawled, looking extremely bored. "We should also prepare for Potter's arrival. Would you like the pleasure of setting up some traps for our future guests? Miss Romanoff isn't here to receive them this time, and this kind of weather does horrible things to an old man's bones." Lucius smiled knowingly.Jim's eyes lit up with the excitement of a child on christmas eve. He could make many traps that wouldn't affect someone travelling by portkey, thereby making sure that Natasha wouldn't be hurt on her return. Potter's little gang of misfits on the other hand.. Oh, the ideas were piling already. Lucius would perhaps not be to happy with all of them, but that was his loss.
"I'll get my tools," he sing-songed, moving up towards his room in the upper floors. Reaching his bedroom, he picked up a large, black, bag, before making his way up towards one of the higher levels. He needed to have a full view of the forest for some of these traps.
The first trap, or curse, or whatever one might want to call it, took the longest. At the lower levels of the ground, surrounding the castle itself, a wizard would be able to spot the
large keys of a piano, all of them around the size of a human male. A certain song would have to be played in order to pass. A wrong key pressed in the wrong rhythm or at the wrong time could have.. deadly results. James was quite happy with this one, and almost hoped they wouldn't be able to pass it - to see them fail would be interesting enough in itself. However, this was only the second time he'd tried it, and the first time it was on such a large scale. It could very well be faulty. The song in itself was very easy, though. After all, Jim was a sucker for theatrics, and he wouldn't want it to be
too hard.
Humming the melody to himself, he then set onto making the next traps, running down through the castle. He would need to actually
be in the castle for these. His suit was already drenched, as the first trap had taken him an hour to make, so he didn't bother to bring his umbrella. Stepping out in to the forest, he decided not to break into song this time. He would have to focus.
(( OOC: I hope the description of the trap is understandable, otherwise feel free to PM me and I'll try to explain it better. Guh xD And congratulations to you, Kenzi! ))
