I knocked out ten of you, just because you attacked me out of the blue. I do not want to hurt you." Celes said while looking up and revealing her face with her red eyes and white hair. The guard squeeked and stumbled backwards. "D...Demon? Wait! No! You said you were human last time. But still for a human, you are as powerful as a demon. You may pass." Celes put out her hand to help the man up and the guard jumped further back out of fear. "Come on. I can forgive you, if you promise not to judge someone for their appearance. Lets be friends." Celes said. The guard let himself be helped up, then Celes gave him a deer sausage. After taking a bite of the most delicious thing he had ever eaten, the guard bowed and said: "I am sorry for being so judgemental. I would gladly be friends with you and I am relieved that I had mistaken you for a demon but you are more like an angel." "That is so sweet. If you want more sausages, bring your friends with you and I will sell them to you for a cheaper price." Celes said and went to the marketplace where she rolled out a hand woven carpet and set out her wares. When a peaseant spit at her the guard for earlier was there with three other guards. "Hey! Do not disrespect that angelic woman!" The guard said and pushed the man away. "Dont fall for her! She is a succubus! A demon! Kill her!" The angry man yelled and then turned to Celes: "You might have fooled those dumb, butt-ugly guards but not me." "Why do you have to judge someone just by looking at them? You look and act like a drunken hoodlum. Get your act together because you angered the guards. They heard you." Celes said. A guard began beating the crap out of the drunken hoodlum while the other three bought ten sausages for a silver coin and ten copper coins. They also bought some spices that Celes recommended.
"See Ia. If you are always kind and only engage in combat to protect yourself, you can gain friends and customers." Celes said to Ia. A dirty but handsome beggar saw Ia and came up to her: "Beautiful girl! Wont you help a poor beggar. Do you maybe have a home or even have room for a lover. I do not care, if you are rich or not. Your beauty is all I need." "Ia, go ahead. Even though he is a dirty beggar. He seems to be at least honest and I he gets washed he might look good too." Celes said to Ia. Ia stood up and for the first time in two days she smiled. A tear ran down her cheek: "I would gladly accept. You can live with us. We live at a tiny castle in the forest." The beggar weakly jumped with joy and waited for them to get done.
