Len's sapphire eyes widened as he hopped down from his refuge on the counter, he'd never meant to offend Koganei (one of the oldest boys) and quickly caught hold of his sleeve before he'd gotten to far. Staring up at him worriedly, he shook his head. “C-C'mon, I didn't mean that, Koganei,” Len stammered, before he finally let go of the boys' sleeve. Honestly, all he wanted to do was help all of the other Vocaloids find food so that they wouldn't be stuck with crappy emergency food rations, or rather, none at all. “We just, we need everyone to help out, right?” He questioned, taking a deep breath and glancing at the others gathered in the kitchen. “And besides, don't you want more boxes of cookies?”
When Luke and Lena had run from the kitchen in the opposite direction, to search for the laboratory workers, a hopeful smile spread across his lips and he turned back to Kagonei. “If we search, even for a little while, we're bound to run into some of them.” He continued, looking up at Kagonei to see if he agreed or not. Being much smaller than he was, he rocked on his tip-toes before throwing a thumbs up at Luka. “We can team up! Me, you and Kagonei.” Before he continued, a small muscle jumped in his jaw and he clung to the frame of the door, sticking his head out so that he could see Luke's retreating figure. “I... I'm not shouta!”
______________
Sighing, Kaito watched as Luke dashed off after Lena, apparently, they were the “thing” amongst the Vocaloid's and he couldn't understand why they were around each other all the time. It was almost like Len and Rin, except they weren't related in any way. He scratched the back of his head and brushed at his blue locks, rearranging them so that they wouldn't hang in front of his bright eyes. As the Vocaloid's paired off, he leaned his elbow on the counter behind him and finished off the rest of his delicious blueberry popsicle, cautiously to make sure that none of it melted onto the ground. There was nothing he was more passionate about than ice cream. It was the only thing that really made him want to search for someone to go buy some more supplies—no supplies meant no ice cream, which in turn meant no inspiration to sing.
Before Miku could complain some more, Kaito strode forward and grabbed her hand firmly, pulling her out of the kitchen and into the hallway. Sitting around the kitchen wouldn't do any good, and he definitely wanted to be searching with someone like Miku—before Koganei or Len chose her, anyway. When they were far enough away from the other gathered Vocaloid's, he stopped in his tracks and looked down at Miku. He'd never noticed before but she was so much smaller than him, it brought a smile to his lips. Untangling his hand from her's, he stood awkwardly for a moment before glancing down the hallway. “Why don't we try to go get it ourselves?” Kaito suggested, arching an eyebrow, “If they don't find the workers, we'll starve.”
