The sky lit up as a massive pillar of fire rose from where Chris’ house was… the fire tips burning away low hanging clouds in a black and white torrent of flame. The inferno’s width was kept a constant on what was once Chris’ house now no more then a massive pit of a crater. Nearby houses began to disintegrate from the raw heat and even from the distance they had made, one could feel it searing their flesh. There were no screams of pain… for such did not leave time for those the fire touched to even gasp… for the flames burned not flesh but soul… its heat so great that it simply caused everything to fall apart at an atomic level… One could make out five figures in robes standing in a pentagon around the roof tops around Chris’ house. They folded their hands together before vanishing into the pillar of smoke that now rose as the more distant houses began to combust from the residual heat.

Victiara stared wide eyed at the destruction. “Ser Chris… w…what was this… what did you anger to do this… who would cause such destruction… such wanton slaughter…” She looked towards the ground. “We… can’t hold off our flight to help them can we?”
