Tatsuya stood in his place, quietly listening to everyone around him until their leader spoke. As the captain commander spoke, he closed his eyes and focused on the issues placed before them, hoping to be able to help in some way or another. The laws he had already known about, seeing as how he had been the vice-captain for a time before the battle, but none the less he listened well and memorized them, mostly so he could tell them to Mari later, who was the closest thing to a vice captain he had, and who also hadn't showed up after all.

The first issue, men lost. He wasn't sure if he could do anything about that, he knew there was nothing personal he could do, and the only idea that came to mind for it was to test those still in the academy earlier, to see if they might be able to step up sooner. But, he says nothing as he continues to listen. About the 12th Division labs needing rebuilt, his men may not be some of the strongest, but they were good with detail. Helping to rebuild would definately be something he could do, and something he thought his men wouldn't mind doing either, but again he held his tongue.

Something the vice captains can't be around to hear? Tatsuya wonders, opening his eyes, finally, and looking to Ichiro, And what does our new captain commander have up his sleeve, I wonder...

As the vice captains began to take their leave, the Squad 9 captain raised his left hand up and looks towards Ichiro.

"Division Nine captain Odasuka Tatsuya," He says once the room is quiet, "I would like to volunteer my squad to help with the repairs and reconstruction of the Division Tweleve labaratory. Unless, of course, you need us for anything else Captain Commander."
