It was one of those slow days again. Those days where you just know nothing is going to happen, and no one has the energy or the heart to attempt it. It was frustrating really. Everything was frustrating. The way Steven Lenners shoes dragged in my direction with such unenthusiasm was frustrating that I could've hit him with my clipboard. I didn't though, instead I stopped him and asked where Sebby was with as much enthusiasm as he used when he walked.
"Er, I think hes with one of the Seven subjects." He said as I watched him run his hands through his hair.
"Oh.. Alright." I replied back, lowering my gaze to his shoes that were the color of the back of a beetles wing.
He gave me a nod and started to shuffle away.
"Hey Steven," I called out.
He stopped and turned around, furrowing his dark eyesbrows slightly. "Yeah?" He replied.
"Get a haircut." I suggested.
I turned around and headed down the hallway before he could reply. I didn't know where I was heading. I just kinda wandered aimlessly for awhile. It was days like these when throwing pencils up at the ceiling to see if any stuck seemed appealing, and harassing the my co-workers was the next best thing. I wondered where Sebby was, and then probably figured he was avoiding me. I felt a pang of hurt that was soon replaced with hunger. Eating was a good way to pass the time. I headed over to the cafeteria, which was conviently down the hall to where I was. As I turned a corner, I walked straight into the back of a kid.
"Whoah, whoah." I said, steadying myself, "Watch where your going kid. I could've ha--Hi Rhiennon. Or was it Rhianna? No, wait, thats a singer. Rhinnoy?"
I bent my knees so I was at an equal height with him then narrowed my eyes. "Rhiennah." I stood upright and smiled in satisfaction, "How are you?"
