Ezekiel sat in the passenger seat with his heaphones on, blasting one of his favorite
songs, paying little to not attention to the driver. The driver had asked him a few questions but the sound canceling headphones negated them quite easily, classical, dubstep, and some other music making it quite difficult for conversation. The boys head was stuck out the window, taking in the surroundings, noting how it wasn't home, especially with the foliage, not to mention the temperature. His eyes twitched and looked ahead of them, a large building coming into view, "I guess this is it..." He said, slipping his headphones from over his ears and letting them slip around his neck.
"Yeah... Home sweet home." The driver said, throwing his blinker on and pulling up to the front gates.
Ezekiel wasn't at all too nervous about this, though it was a hundred and eighty degree change from what he was used to... If there were other people like him, this shouldn't be too difficult to adjust... Well, lets not get too hasty yet bud.
The car pulled up to the front, allowing him to jump out and grab his duffel bag, backpack, and a box holding things from home which wouldn't fit in the other two. "Thanks for the ride man." He said, giving the guy a wave by putting his index and middle finger to his forehead and moving it outward, almost like a half hearted salute. The driver nodded, putting the car back in drive and going off. Ezekiel took in a deep breath and turned in place, looking up at the building. "Screw it..." He said, his eyes looking up to the sky as traces of a storm began entering the area, thunder not too far behind the clouds. "Alright, maybe a little more like home." He said to himself, grabbing his duffel bag off the ground and making his way up to the front door. He didn't notice the storm almost clear as he went to the door, though he most definitely would later on, probably finding himself more disappointed than not.
His eyes came up and caught sight of a person who he hadn't noticed, a male roughly the same age as himself. Ezekiel cleared his throat as he came closer, hesitating for a moment before speaking, "What's going on man...?" He asked, not noticing the
music still blasting through his headphones. Ezekiel could notice a few scars on the guy, though it wasn't a distraction to him. He had a few of his own as well. A girl had made her way up the stairs and through the front door... Ezekiel maybe breaking eye contact with the guy a little too long, though he didn't instinctively stare at her back end like most males would. As she dissapeared he blinked for a second and looked back at the guy in front of him, "Er, yeah." He paused for a moment, "My name's Ezekiel by the way." He slipped his duffel bag around his neck for a moment, holding out his hand to shake the other guys if he'd allow it, something he did with just about anyone he met.
