They were moving fast, but they kept a constant speed which suggested that they weren't running from him, nor did it seem they knew that he was behind them. Shifting quickly to his lycan form, he barreled through the forest, without regarding stealth or his scent... He wanted them to know he was there, maybe they would stop, or they would run away.

When Dakota had caught up with the girls he leaped high above them landing just in front of the vampire he wanted to see, he remained in his Lycan form just to be cautious, not for his sake but for the vampire's, what he was about to reveal wouldn't be easily accepted, and he didn't want the other vampire to attack the girl he cared for.
