Issac pulled away after several incisions were made with the piece of silver into Scarlet's skin. He stood back a bit and considered her words. He smiled after a few moments of contemplation.
"Pathetic creatures you call them. . . you say they harm one another rather than defend themselves, that they raise their young to be pure but fail. How then, does it reflect upon you that you came from these creatures?" said the raptor. He was pacing back and forth.
"And also, how does it reflect that you have yet to repent from such habits? You are supposedly a higher creature. And in some ways you are! You are stronger, faster, than a human, your senses are better, even the higher vampires can transform into mist or bats, and these same higher vampires can not be harmed by anything other than silver. You are immortal, and in several other ways, superior to a human! Your crowning achievement is that you have put the human miseries behind you! Yet for some reason, you still kill those weaker than you. In fact, you can not live without sucking the life blood from those 'pathetic creatures' called humans!" He laughed a little and continued to pace.
"Tell me vampire, what IS a disgrace to the world? What permits you to kill and defile and destroy humanity? Is it that you are ridding evil from the planet?" Issac laughed "Why then, do you kill? And then there is this idea that humans are naturally bad. If they are as evil and terrible as you say, wouldn't you simply be helping them in their 'ultimate purpose' to lead themselves to destruction by killing them?" He smirked.
"You depend on these humans, these 'filthy creatures' that are 'full of shit' for survival. So where would you be, if they did not exist, hm? You justify killing them by saying they are terrible and that you are doing the world a service by removing them. Yet without them, You. Are. Nothing." He growled. The raptor was smiling, absolutely loving the pain one could inflict with mere words. In some ways, this was worse torture than the piece of silver in Issac's hand that he was twirling idly.
"You say that humanity does not exist. Yet you say that humans do not exhibit it. What then, would be wrong with them? I mean, really, if I am not doing something that doesn't exist in the first place, what is wrong with me?" He smiled.
"You say humans are evil. I say they are mislead. And you, almighty vampire," He said the words in a most sarcastic tone with a massive grin plastered to his face, "Are no better." He paused then spoke again.
"No. . . you're not superior. You are worse, a disgrace. A leech living in the muck. I suppose there is that little detail that humans have a choice in the matter and you don't. . . but then, doesn't that make you pure evil, incapable of genuine kindness or goodness?" He smirked. The smirk turned to a sympathetic frown that was oozing with sarcasm.
"Now that I say this, I pity you! You can't feel the joy of selflessly helping others! I should just stop the torture now! After all, your life is already a living hell." He paused as if contemplating this idea. Then he smiled his sadistic grin at her.
"Nah." He removed a small vial of holy water from his belt and forced her mouth open and then poured the clear liquid down her throat. It wouldn't kill her, but it was the most vile and painful drink she had ever drank, it stung her throat and burned in her stomach like a hot coal. Worse still though, she couldn't double over to ease the pain, all she could do was sit. Issac just stood back and smiled at her as the blessed water sizzled her insides.
