Lucas stayed in the shadows behind his new servant, not that she would be able to see him anyways, should she turn around. As long as it was nighttime, there was no room here in which a human could see. There was no fire that illuminated and warmed the room, but still the ground felt relatively warm to the touch. The young vampire could care less about the room's temperature, as he circled the human girl only an arm's reach away. He listened to her reply on his question, yet he didn't even remember it anymore, there was just the echo of the words spoken in his mind. He didn't bother to answer her first question, before he had finished circling her entirely, noting that she was just another human. Yet his uncle had bought her for him, even though he wasn't really consent with such a simply blood supply. He loved the challenge of the hunt. The quiet sound of his feet trailing along the ground came to an halt, in front of her this time. Than there was this voice again.
"Mh... Am I?... Yes, I guess that is my name... But why did she ask me before?... she has to be impolite to not tell her name before... Maybe I should have asked her before... No, no, it was right this way... should I ask her now?... What might be her name?"
As the vampire seemed to think aloud, he continued to circle her. The words sounded a little hushed, but were still like whispers. Would there be just another sound within this hall, the words wouldn't even reach her ear. As she asked her second question, of why he would pay that much money for her, the steps halted again, directly to her right. The steps still echoed slightly through the room, but as he was close, it was much easier to locate his position now. She could her the steps now moving directly towards her, one, two, than there was silence again. Suddenly she could feel something piercing her neck slightly, drawing a thin cut on the side. It felt sharp, but there was no teeth, so it had to be a weapon, or a sharp set of nails. After just the blink of an eye the feeling stopped, a single drop of blood started to trail down to her shoulder. It was caught in its movement by the cold skin of a finger, following the line back to the cut, as if to collect every single part of this single drop. Soon the hand retreated from her skin, a sigh followed by swallowing sound could be heard close to her.
"Mh... not that bad... no, finally a bit more... fresh... My uncle, yes he bought you... he... you weren't as costly for him... not as costly as you think. He has his reasons... for you, don't know. Maybe you were just the least disgusting?"
Lucas remained still where he stood as he seemed to memorize the taste of her blood. The voice was different this time, seemingly stronger, trying to struggle for control. His eyes, while hidden in the shadows, seemed to pierce the area around the cut. Wouldn't he had his blood recently, she would already be dead. Well, still his thirst for the blood, especially this fresh would never cease. The sound of the pulsing blood that came from her veins as it worked to stop the the small cut, it was captivating. After a while he continued to speak, it sounded nearly normal now, though it remained just as cold.
"Master... Yes that will do it for now... How may I call you?... While you think about it, let me tour you through the house... Wait, you can't see right now, can't you?... Poor little human...Well you would be of no use for me like that..."
With a hushing sound, the presence of the vampire seemed to move away. A second later, small lights from around the four massive columns that filled the corners of the room, provided shadowy illumination on the walls. A large chandelier in the middle seemed to burst in a flash, covering the whole room in a warm, golden light. Lucas had turned away for the time as he pressed the switch. He didn't need the light to see, like those unworthy humans, in fact he saw much better in the darkness. As his eyes had adjusted to the illumination, he returned to his new plaything. He wore a elegant red and black jacket and fitting black pants. Obviously he didn't wear any shoes to cover his feet, but they appeared to be clean nonetheless. His white hair was loose as every and his blue eyes piercing his servant with a stare. Standing in front of her, he offered her his hand.
"Come, I will show you around... I know you will get to like it. It's not like you would have any choice about that anyways..."
