Haine wasn't expecting that. He'd been knocked off his feet from the blow. Standing up, he muttered, "Serves me right for getting caught off guard. This is going to bruise." If it had been a guy who'd punched him like that he wouldn't have hesitated to retaliate, but she was a girl. He loved to fight, and if an excuse presented itself to him, he wouldn't hesitate to fight another guy. "Shit, i didn't know she'd react like that, did you?" He was addressing the boy next to him now. "After all, its obvious enough from the way she carries herself, and a few other quirks a guy wouldn't have. Its all a matter of being observant." Realizing he was being relatively nice to someone he just met, he checked himself. "Anyway, I never said you could come up on MY roof in the first place. So you'll have to fight for it."
