She entered a large library and he stopped to look around... it had been so long since he was allowed to read, it seemed most vampires did not look favorably upon servants increasing their intelligence, a uneducated slave was a good slave.

He stood in front of her chair, she had not motioned for him to sit so he would not; he did not waste his rage on meaningless small fights: if he did he would not have made it as far as he has, which truly given the aspect of the warped world he had not gone far enough.
