The sand of Golden Leo's training fields flew as a small girl in a white combat dress and bare feet. An older man was watching her from a distance as Tanya progressed through the slow intricate movements of her morning Tai Chi. Master Qua watched her quietly and as he leaned on his cane but said nothing. Tanya had been learning this art for the past few months and she had a huge respect for it. Not only did it calm her mind but she was actually feeling a difference in her movements. It was interesting how she had found Master Qua. She first saw him about a year ago after moving into her new room overlooking the training grounds. Master Qua would hobble out to the fields, a severe limp in his leg, the man could barely walk. But every morning, at 5:00 she would see him out on the fields, gracefully practicing his Tai Chi without missing a step. When he finished at 6:00 he would pick up his cane and hobble off, only to return at sunset to do the same.
The intercom crackled as Ozwalds voice penetrated through the peace of the early morning. She made note of the message but did not stop her practice. After a few more minutes passed Tanya stopped and made a deep bow to Master Qua. "I am sorry Master Qua. But I am needed. I am sorry to cut practice short."
Master Qua smiled and waved the girl off with his cane. "You can not cut practice short Tanya. Even if you are not completing your forms, you are always in practice. Tai Chi is a state of mind as much as it is a martial art. Now run off, I can not hold you anymore."
"Thank you master" She said bowing again as she slipped on her shoes and began jogging towards the Main Hall. She was cutting it dangerously close but halfway there she slowed and started walking again. One must always remember to not rush and the exorcises weren't that bad, at least they weren't as bad as Master Qua's in her mind,
The doors to the Main hall creaked open to admit Tanya who had just made it in before their 10 minutes were up. Everyone seemed dead and though her sleep had been plagued by dreams and she had woken up at 4 in the morning, Tanya wasn't very tried. "Good morning everyone" she said sweetly.
