Vincent flinched a bit as he heard Violet fire off the three rounds, but then again he always did that when it came to gunfire, another reason he prefered his fists. He let out a sigh as placed a hand on his shoulder. Again he had forgotten abot how perceptive she could be, but her words did help ease his nervousness a bit. "Thanks," he says quietly before Jared walks over and does his examination of the explosive.

"Great," Vincent says sarcastically, "He's probably planning on bringing the building down even if he gets that Tangeium stuff...whatever it is..." But now he was thinking a bit more, raising up and looking around the corner to see two men running down the stairs to see what the noise was. "I wonder if this guy is really smart enough to pull this off on his own. These goons of his seem pretty simple minded, maked me wonder about their boss!" the last word came out a bit louder than he had meant for it to, because just then he reached out and slammed the goons heads together, then allowed them to gently fall to the floor. "Jared, think you can disarm these explosives?"

Moving around the corner he spies the fire extenguisher case is ajar. Checking it he finds another wad of C4 stuffed inside, this one with a not-yet-armed timer attahced to it. Cursing silently he turns back to the other and points a thumb at the device.

"Change of plan...we need to get those hostages out of here now, forget the explosives. If the building goes, it goes..." he says, obviously a bit more nervous than he had been, but this time only because he was the only person he knew who would be able to stand the building falling on them, aside from maybe Violet.
