The man Remi hadn't seemed to notice Dara talking to him. In fact, he seemed very preoccupied with his summoner, Analea, and on top of that seemed none too pleased with her. Still, Dara was used to being ignored, and patiently, quietly waited. Her patience paid off when Remi seemed to remember her,

"Oh and, here is that bag of yours." Remi said, tossing it at her as if it were a pillow. Dara had told the man creature before she was stronger than she looked--and she had meant it--but this bag was certainly not something to be throwing at her. Dara made a small groaning sound as she caught the heavy thing straight in her chest. Her ribs took most of the impact, knocking some of the air from her lungs. Still, she hadn't dropped it--and luckily--hadn't been knocked over from the sheer impact of the thing.

"Urg..Thanks..." Dara mumbled, straining at the awkwardness of the parcel. She managed to heft it over towards the bar Talan had mentioned before, dropping it with a healthy sounding thud into a bar chair. The chair creaked slightly at the sudden shift in weight. Dara exhaled in relief and parked herself in the chair beside her belongings. Her attention was now entirely engaged on the paperwork, and she smoothed the wrinkles she had made in it out on the flat bar top. From seemingly nowhere, Dara fished out a well-worn looking ballpoint pen and twirled it between her two most band aide covered fingers in her right hand as she read through the pages. She always had a pen on hand.

Dara's handwriting was neat and fluid, much like a practiced scribe. In some ways, she was. After all the scribblings she took in her notebook she could be one. She filled all the standard information, name, age, hometown--which she doubted anyone in here would have even heard of---and reason for joining. The reason part she scratched out and rewrote at least three times before she was satisfied that it didn't sound too cheesy. Though, what she had wanted to write was, "A family" she scratched this out for, "A home" and scratching that out as well finally settled on, "Being a part of something bigger than myself." Dara sighed. That had to be the most cliche of all. But it couldn't be helped. In the area where it asked her neat handwriting said, "Wizard", and listing the spells she knew, and knew well, was a little iffy. She was self taught after all. She hoped her descriptions of the spells would suffice--for she wasn't sure if they had formal names. All of her spells were somewhat..improvised. Dara put the pen away. reading over her neatly completed paperwork.

"yes..that should do it." She sighed to herself, smoothing the pages across the bar again. It was then that she noticed her eyes were a little heavy and in turn so was her head. She leaned heavily against the bar top. Vaguely, she heard Analea say,

"Does anyone want to go on a job..?"

Dara wanted to very badly. But she wasn't exactly a member. She didn't know if that went against the rules of their guild..and on top of that...she was beat. Her eyes closed heavily.

Dara yawned, startling herself from a cat nap. Had she been sleeping for a moment there? Probably. That was a bad habit of hers. Her headmaster had once thought she was narcoleptic--but really--it was that she tended to push herself a little too hard. Often she would stay up late into the night reading her texts and scribbling possible spells, or testing these spells and after wards dousing the fires that were generally caused by them. She rubbed her eyes, trying to get her focus back. The nap couldn't have been more that a moment or two, the girl Analea was still looking like she wanted someone to quest with, her summon, Remi, was still looking annoyed and Talan was still diligently tacking up jobs to the board. Dara glimpsed toward the other end of the bar where the one Analea had called, Morpeth seemed to be moodily reading a paper. Where had that bartender, Allie gone? Dara's stomach burbled another complaint, making Dara sigh. She wondered how long the boss would actually be--but didn't want to bother anyone with that sort of a question. He would arrive in due time, she was sure. Absently, Dara picked leaves and branches out of her hair, making an embarrassed face. "Such a mess..." She mumbled to herself.

Instead of fretting over her appearance--which she knew she could not change--she hopped off the stool and crept behind Talan, reading the jobs as he posted them. There were all sorts. Small jobs from finding lost pets--to larger jobs like freeing a whole town from a zombie invasion. She had only ever taken on small jobs. Her biggest being fending off a pack of stray satyrs that had been messing up an old woman's vegetable garden back home, and they were easy enough to persuade to leave with a few tin cans. She eyed the board and turned to face Analea,

"Well..if you were going to pick a job..what one would you pick?" Dara asked her, eyes focused.
