Henrietta felt tears in her eyes. She was not free yet but Vincent had not shot her and Annette was not behind them. She was actually going to do it this time, she might actually be able to escape. Her tears were tears of blissful joy, the first time she felt her shackles loosen. She wasn't ahead of Jax long though, his longer strides catching up with her shorter ones.

"What the hell do you think your doing?! Don't you know they'll most likely kill you instead of bringing you back?!"

Henrietta scowled. "I know exactly what I'm doing. And you know what, I would rather they killed me then I be forced to serve another day under them. You have no idea what they did to me Jax. If you knew then you would not be asking me what the hell I am doing."

Henrietta kept running for as long as possible until she thought they had reached a safe distance away before stopping in the shadows to catch her breath. She hadn't expected to make it this far, she had expected to not make 10 feet by herself. "Why Jax?" Henrietta whispered. "Why did you leave without me.... You promised, You promised we would leave together and you left me there. Do you know how I feel? Being left by my only friend in the hands of the people who... who.... raped me!" She wanted to punch him in the face but she couldn't bring herself to throw that punch. She couldn't hurt Jax. Her voice softened and then cracked "Please Jax.... I want to know." she said looking up into his eyes. Tears were still glistening her face but her eyes were almost like daggers, she had to know why he left her there. "Please tell me..."
