The demon watched intently as the other spirit transformed. Slowly but surely, the human form appeared in place of the previous cat-beast. Vier eyed the woman as a scythe formed next to her. Shock dragged Vier to her feet as she realized who, or in this case, what, the other spirit was. Death? she thought to herself incredulously. Traveling down an unmarked path in the Sandwraith Desert out of pure instinct, a lowly demon such as herself met up with Death, and the spirit's companion, who she still didn't recognize, and put her mind toward watching them. What a thought.

As the conversation went on below her, Vier's body willed her more and more to leave. Though her physical body was telling her to vanish, her mind convinced her to stay. Listening to her brain, she peered over the hill at the couple and watched as the scythe was passed on to Death's companion. As people say, there is a first for everything, but for the demon, this was too many 'firsts' for her. She lifted herself, ready to run, when she glanced back one more time. The sky erupted into shades of color she could not fathom, and the scythe-wielder had a massive grin on his face. She listened closely as the spirit explained what the color was and it soon became clear to her that this other spirit was a God. Not only a God, but the God that just so happened to run this world. Madness, Literally.

When the colors reached their full palette, the scythe was passed back to Death. After a brief but engaging conversation, the Spirit opened a crack in the universe. The God stepped through willingly, as though he was waiting for this day since the beginning of his time (which everyone knows is quite the time to wait). Hesitating only for a brief moment, Vier summoned every inkling of courage she could find in herself and started off toward the remaining spirit.

"Wait!" the demon called from the top of the hill. Her transformation from hellhound to human-form was an awkward sight to behold, as she was barreling down a mountain of sand while doing so. She skidded to a halt in front of the Spirit of Death and warily looked up at her. "Please, wait. I need to return to the Underworld, yet don't have the power to do so at the moment. Please, let me go through. I will serve you for however long you need if you wish, if you can take be back now. I'll be out of your way as soon as I step through." Her words came out faster than a trophy winning racehorse as she tried to explain herself to Death. "I have to apologize for spying. I...you were the first life,or entity I should say, that I have come across in over a week. If I had known you were, well, you, I wouldn't have done such a thing." The demon huffed out a breath and looked into the Spirit's eyes hopefully.
