Sirius, grinned around at his friends, flicking his black bangs out of his eyes for the hundredth time. He had no doubt in his mind: James was right, this was going to be the best year. Just the summer alone made this year to remember, what with leaving his family behind and moving in with James, possibly his most trusted friend. Things were already turning for the best.
Before he could make a comment, though, James and the others were already on their way through the platform wall, scaring a bunch of first years. Nothing could stop him from having a little fun now, could it? He ran at the wall at full speed. "Wait up, boys!" Before he hit the wall, he turned, looked at a bunch of girls amongset the students, winked. "Catch you ladies later!". Then, turned and was gone. The starled expressions had him laughing all the way to the train.
Sirius leaned on the wall next to the compartment where James sat, listening to Remus poke at James' theories again. He turned and tussled the more sensible boy's head. "Oh, lighten up, Moony. You never know, he may be right." He then threw himself in front of James, pinching his cheeks. "This may be the year Lily falls for his bboyish good looks!", he said in the cutesy-est voice he could muster before dodging into the seat across from his friend, anticipating a retaliating blow.
