Lillis straight blonde hair was falling out of its ponytail but she didn’t even notice it, usually she would have but she was too nervous to really notice anything. She tried to think of something to distract her so she flattened out her light blue dress. She looked back up and a smile grew across her face as Dan walked into the room. It meant she no longer would have any eyes on her, but rather on him since he was the leader. She made a cute smile as he looked at her; she hoped she wouldn't have to help with anything that would attract the new pup’s attention.
When Dan started speaking to her she listened carefully and intentely to make sure she wouldn't be asked anything that would put her in the spotlight. But, then she heard the amazing sentence that uplifted her spirits. "kitchen and try to figure out what to make for dinner. " Lilli waited for a second, so it wouldn’t seem that she really wanted out of there; which she really did, then nodded and headed off to the kitchen. She almost screamed with happiness to be away from everyone else.

She followed a long corridor that was nicely lit and was made to look homely. The walls were a light caramel on the top with warm chocolate wooden panels on the bottom. As she reached the end there were two entrances, one on the left and one on the right. The light coming from the left entrance was a bright white which was the kitchen. She walked inside and was in an amazingly elegant but huge Kitchen. The cupboards were a moon white color while the counter tops were a night black. This room always made her smile because it just looked so open, and she could always come here to practice her devastating cooking skills. She skipped up to the rather large island that was basically in the middle of the U shaped kitchen. From there she pulled out a couple of cook books with the words " Famous cooking " and "Finer Diner" on them. They had her favorite meals to cook in them, so she thought she might as well try to cook from them. She skipped around to the other side of the island so she was now in between the counters and the island. On the one counter top was a small boom box so she decided to turn it on, not loud but loud enough for her to hear. The song “Mirrors” (by Natalia Kills) started to play and Lilli couldn’t help but start dancing as she got her appliances out.
