Truthfully, she hadn't realized she was happy, but them how did one recognize something one never saw? It was not as though people were ever happy to see her. At best, she got a bittersweet reception to say the least. Of course, being Death was not among the most cheerful of activities either. "Happy... I suppose I am." The tiny smile expanded, and she nodded agreeably.

"Anneteris is here as well? It must be difficult for her, to sustain herself in such a chaotic world. Perhaps we should bring her some chocolate leaves, don't you think?" It might surprise people, but despite her job, Death was mostly a generous soul. Maybe it was simply because she never really got the chance to give anyone anything that she seized upon such opportunities when they presented themselves.
