Alura "Aqua" smiled awkwardly as Angel explained her surprise.
"Yes, well, I suppose when you live a sheltered life you miss a lot of things." She stood up and looked at her, seeing the funny look on her face. "Oh, sorry, I suppose it's just custom with some of my people. Or, at least, the custom of the people I lived with." She smiled, then reached up, petting the pup again.
"Amaterasu, is it? That's a lovely name." She stood up, then whistled sharply, then a blue fennec fox suddenly bounded out of the bushes behind them, running up her leg and leaping onto her shoulder.
"This is Azure. He's my pet." She reached up, stroking the fox's long, pointed ears. She smiled at him, then turned to look as Angel started to walk away, tilting her head. Her eyes went wide as she saw the pillar of blue flame, astonished. She then smiled at the reassurance that the one she was originally looking for would be here soon.
"Thank you..." She paused, tilting her head. "You're Angel, correct? I have to assume so, since you're the only blue one i see here."
