Alura "Aqua" looked over at Onyth. She smiled softly.
"No, thank you, Onyth. I'd rather not kill something I don't absolutely have to." She sighed softly at herself, putting her head against the tree she'd been leaning on. I suppose I could making a sort training dummy out of the water in the air... That way I could practice two things at once... Hm... she thought. She nodded to herself, then stood up and unsheathed her uchigatana. She smiled to the people around her, then walked over to a nearby opening, then she held her hand out in front of her. The water in the air around her arm started to gather, and she directed it towards a central point a few feet from her, slowly building up a pillar of solidified water. It took a few minutes, but she eventually managed it. She gripped her uchigatana tightly in her hands, then took up her offensive stance, slightly crouched down.

She raised up her swords, getting ready to strike, but it became hard to focus on an attack when she had to focus on keeping the pillar up. It was one thing to attach water to a sword and use it all to attack, but an entirely different thing having to focus on something at a distance and something that was in her hand. She took a few deep breaths, then leaped towards the pillar, swinging her onyx-bladed uchigatana in a wide arch, cutting into the watery pillar. Her blade suddenly got stuck in the water pillar. She had focused too much on the water, and as a result made it much too dense. It felt almost like rock now, but still flowed like water. This was the same method she used quite frequently as a way to create armor out of water; by creating a layer of super-dense water around her.

She took a deep breath, focusing more on the sword, and the water became thinner, letting her pull her sword out. She raised her swords again, but this time cut clean through the pillar, only this time it was much to thin. The water regathered in the pillar, then dissipated into air suddenly as she released her focus. She sighed softly as she returned her swords to their metal-trimmed sheaths. She made a rather disappointed face.
"I suppose I need to work with water a little more before I can do that properly..." She sighed again, then sat down cross-legged where she stood. "Oh well..." she said with a shrug.
