Characters ITP: Murlocto in Aldergia.

After of day of searching for material, Murlocto had been unsuccessful in finding anything he hadn't already had in his possession. It was always the same type of contraptions laying about his kingdom, nothing was ever of use. The closest thing he found was the Drami; with an attitude to match its odd appearance, so he didn't know how much of a use it could be. It had only been a mere 50 years since he had taken over the kingdom, and this was as far as he got. He still had no real clue on how to activate any of the machines. He knew that it requires a power source or some sort, but he didn't know how to acquire it; if he did, he still wouldn't know how to use it. Even though Murlocto possessed a power that none other in Tarn had ever seen, he still felt powerless with the inevitable doom that was coming his was. He knew of the building army, and he knew that sooner or later he would have battering rams destroying the main gates of his castle and destroying everything he had built. The economy would soon suffer; citizens of Tarn had no real advanced concepts of currency or wealth. He was sure that they were use to living off of the land having to inefficiently do their own work when people could be rewarded for doing the works of others. Such a horrid concept.

Frustrated with his progress, he wanted to see what more information he could get out of the Drami before he would begin to lose all control. He made his way towards the room that the Drami occupied to question him about the possibilities of activating these ancient machines by some other means. The way that he had moved was unique to the Dodepus, shift and alternating each of the 10 tentacles smoothly in a constant motion. Maneuvering on dry land was fairly simple and most Dodepus were able to move at speeds of twice that of a walking adult. The soft underbelly of each tentacle acted as grip and stabilization for their movements. As he enter through the door frame of the room, he spoke in stern voice as he usually did, "Mew, I require your assistance."

Murlocto was not in his usually apparel, he was in full armor which he wore when he journeyed beyond the borders of Aldergia. A metal plate was a custom design by the cities blacksmiths to fit the body and frame of the Dodepi army; it would cover most of their front leaving only the eyes and top part of their skull exposed. Armor was still essential for the Dodepus despite most of their outer layer being strong and hard and most Dodepus have grown accustom to the constant requirement to wear their armor. The only real weakness they would have is a lack of mobility and vision. They were not able to move as fast due to the added wait and the cheap refinements of the available ore. Iron is heavy, but the Dodepus are strong and carrying a large plate of iron was not too big of a deal; it gave them more strength as the months went on serving under Murlocto. The other downside to their armor were the loss of vision, they were not able to make use of their 180 degree of perfect vision, it's greatly reduced by more than half. Sneaking around behind them wouldn't be too hard if they weren't keen with their other senses. Murlocto's armor had decorative designs throughout his main plate, but the plate remained a constant grey with the only color that was given off by the cloak that he wore around the exposed areas which was colored a royal red.
