Fly listened to Mr. Zed's instruction, finding it hard not to laugh. It just seemed like such a hippie thing to do, like emotional yoga or something. But Fly did as she was told, although her idea of comfort seemed very different to everyone else. She had grown up in a circus, she was more flexible than a rubber band. She tried the meditation position that Mr. Zed was demonstrating but it was almost too relaxed, she fidgeted trying to keep her mind from drifting into sleep mode.

She tried curling up in a ball, still no good. She rolled on her back and put her hands behind her head, still too lazy for her. She hugged her knees, she crouched like a frog, she couldn't tell if it was because she was too energetic and these positions weren't enough to stop her fidgeting or over tired and the positions were too relaxed. She frowned, this was going to get embarrassing. She rested on her elbows and kicked her legs into the air, letting them fall forward and touch her head. She knew she looked ridiculous but it was the perfect position, not comfortable enough to fall asleep and not uncomfortable enough to distract her. She let her legs hang there, flexing her toes as they occasionally touched the top of her head. She saw Mr. Zed give her a funny look before asking "Is that really comfortable Fly?" he asked. She nodded, blushing a little as people looked at her.

She breathed evenly, closing her eyes and letting her head rest in her hands. Her hair changed back to the blue with pink streaks she had when she came into class. She let herself zone out, pushing out the negative thoughts away until there was nothing. She had been unsure by what Mr. Zed had meant about becoming more connected to their powers, Fly could already transform with ease, absorption was a little harder. She allowed herself to reflect on that, "absorption" was hard to understand, even for her and it was one of the things that scared her.

Before she knew it Mr. Zed had ended the lesson. She liked the homework, although she hoped she would find a more normal meditation position. She let her legs reach the ground and flipped up to a standing position. She collected her things and picked up a journal. She leaned against the wall next to the bookshelf and pulled out her schedule. "Art" she giggled "I'm liking school so far" she muttered, so far it seemed to be a very "creative" environment, especially after the last lesson.
