Seeing her all grown up tugged on his heart, she wasn't a baby any more, but whoever married her better treat her well, or they would be sorry. He stood behind her placing his hands on her shoulders leaning down to her ear, "Say hello Gwen." He leaned down and patted Aslan's head, "Hello my dear friend."

Slowly he stood back up and walked over to the window returning to the vampire girl whose name still remained unknown to him.

Her eyes darted towards Vale who still stood close to her, she smiled giving him a hopeful look, he had seemed to have better composure than she did.
