Vincent simply sat back and listened to the new man, Zius he called himself...he had been close to right...as he spoke. From the way he talked about the HQ it was obvious that he had never been there before, because the generator Vincent spoke of was about the size of a small home, and several stories underground. Because of everything going on the this place it was needed in case of emergencies, however it also had the power to sustain the entire city for a week, and so if it had blown, something was definitely wrong.

When the subject shifted to Violet, Vincent turned slightly red. He had seen her covering himself, though having been around her so often he didn't think all that much about it, rather it was what Zius said that caused him to turn a shade darker for a moment. Few men had seen as much of Violet as Zius had and survived, or so she had told him once before, and he was sure that if she was not so badly hurt she would have torn the man to shreds already.

"You know, for your own safety, maybe you should go check on things," he says with a small, nervous laugh, "And place, just call be Vincent, or Golem, whichever you like is fine, but don't refer to be as a leader...not after this..."

To emphasis this he holds up his shattered left arm. Doing so causes a wave of pain to wash across his nervous system, but all he does is frown slightly, because deep down he knows that something very wrong has happened, and that a leader soon will be need. No reason to show any fear or pain now. Taking a deep breath he lowers his arm once more, then gathers his strength and pushes himself out of the wheelchair. Thankfully he was wearing a pair of the standard issue white shorts all of the guys got at the HQ, although that was all he wore, until he touched the steel of the wheelchair and absorbed its properties, causing his skin to turn a shiny silver shade.
