"Yeah, yeah, no duh," Jaden waved Kemi off, hardly listening to her ramble on anyway. He hopped into his own ride and took off. He wasn't a car man, so he couldn't tell anyone what year, make, or model it was. But it was a nice, sleek black with cottony seats and a good-quality radio, and that's all the mattered to him. It didn't take him long to reach the student parking lot and get out of his car.
He took a lazy glance around and noticed how many people actually bothered showing up today. Weird, but nothing too totally unusual, he supposed. "What's so great about a dumb exam anyway?" he mumbled to himself as he made his way past the office towards his class. He paused to kneel down under a tree to open up his bookbag and grab a bag of skittles he stole from his sister's room. She wouldn't miss them, he thought as he popped a few into his mouth.
