If he had to be honest, the girl was acting pretty odd. She seemed nervous and anxious all of the sudden and spontaneously hyper. Scott decided to be polite and nod, not saying much or actually, not knowing what exactly to say. When she mentioned heart problems, Scott raised his eyebrow and nodded slowly. She did not struck him as a person with heart disorders but then again, he would not really know. When she removed his hand, he instantly pulled it back and muttered a small apology. She must have felt uncomfortable and he would not blame her if she felt so. Staring at the feather that stuck onto his palm, he felt more confused, wondering what feather was doing on her back when she quickly explain. Her answer was an odd one but Scott just muttered, "Uh huh. Okay."

He chuckled when she asked about the sounds from her tummy. "Uhm, that's when you're hungry?" He said, unsure whether she was making a joke or was actually serious which she seemed to be. "Yeah, don't worry about it. I suppose I can relate to that. As long as you don't go have a major heart attack on me." Smilling, he took a small sip of his drink when she mentioned where she came from. Los Angeles? He would have thought somewhere in Scandinavia or Kazakhstan with her accent. He nodded with a awkward smile plastered across his face and asked her, "You do know that Los Angeles is still in the same country as New York right?"

When she started playing with the beer bottle, he burst out in laughter. Taking the bottle, he shook his head while bringing it closer to her lips. "I think you are supposed to drink it. That is why it's call a drink I suppose." Although it was pretty humourous and likely that she was joking, Scott felt as though there was more to it. It really seemed as though she had no idea that your tummy rumbled when your hungry or that in Los Angeles, people do not speak as though they are from some farway foreign language that had English as their secondary languange or that drinks are meant to be drunk rather that made of an instrument. Yet, he decided to play along in case he was wrong.

"Yeah. Strangely, I guess Dove is a nice name." A genuine smile appearing as he replied.
